Barnett Shale
Dale’s efforts in the Barnett Shale play are concentrated
in the urban areas of Tarrant County. The company’s initial
leasehold position was assembled in the floodplain of the Trinity River
in 2003. Each pad site was selected to be as urban-friendly as possible
and designed to accommodate multiple horizontal wells.
Dale has leased from more than 95,000 mineral owners,

Other Shale Plays
Haynesville Shale
Operations in the Haynesville are conducted through
Twin
Cities Development. The Haynesville Shale, located in Northwest
Louisiana, was recently discovered by Chesapeake Energy. The Haynesville Shale
could mean a great economic benefit to local communities and surrounding areas
due to the employment opportunities being created by the oil and gas industry,
payments to mineral owners and taxes paid to local and state governments. Twin
Cities is currently leasing mineral rights in Caddo and Bossier Parishes. To

Marcellus Shale
In the Marcellus Shale, operations are conducted through,
Dale Property
Services Penn. The Marcellus Shale, located throughout
Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia and New York, may be one of the richest
natural gas fields in the country. Estimated to hold 50 trillion or
more cubic feet of recoverable gas, the Marcellus Shale is becoming
a key contributor to the country’s natural gas production and
to reducing our dependence on foreign energy sources. Dale Property
Services Penn is currently leasing oil and gas rights in Southwestern
Pennsylvania in Allegheny, Fayette, Greene, Washington and Westmoreland
